Eleanor Lutz's deconstructed flight videos

Seattle-based designer Eleanor Lutz used to work in a research lab, teaching mosquitos to fly through mazes. Now she visualizes data (rather beautifully, in our opinion). Her latest blog post features an animated poster showing simulated wing beats of five different flying creatures from a hawk moth through to a Canada goose:
