Wildlife Strikes on Aircraft by Jake Riley

I created this app to better understand the phonomenon of "Bird Strike" or more widely, "Wildlife Strikes"; that is, interactions between aircraft and wildlife which are often fatal for the animals and damaging for the aircraft. In some circumstances they also cause fatal plane crashes. My app allows you to see analysis of wildlife strikes by species and aircraft types, as well as showing remarkable seasonal and regional variations. My data all comes from US sources.
