Children's mental illness and wellbeing at age 11 by Paulo Estriga

What influences children’s risk of developing poor mental health or low wellbeing, and what could protect them from these adversities? CLS researchers analysed information from more than 12,000 11-year-olds born across the UK in 2000-01. They considered different factors that could influence children’s mental health and wellbeing. Few factors affected mental illness and wellbeing in the same way, suggesting that these aspects are driven by different things.
