VACCINATED STUDENTS IN TORONTO: SCHOOL YEAR 2018-2019 by Amy Wu

Toronto-area schools provide vaccination rates for the Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (DTP) vaccine.

The Toronto Public Health staff work with schools to show that students have either been immunized or have an exemption.

Each orange circle with a vaccine represents 1% of the student population that is immunized. A yellow circle represents 1% of the student population that is not immunized.

Non-immunized students are calculated by taking the entire population (100%) and subtracting the DTP coverage rate. Please note that the DTP coverage rate has been rounded to whole numbers for the purpose of this visualization.
