The report presents the generation, collection and treatment of waste in Mexico City. This process is represented in a data visualization that shows how many tons of waste are generated by the city halls of Mexico City, how many tons are not collected, and how much is lost in the open air or clandestine dumps. In addition, the graph represents the distribution of the collected waste in inorganic and organic, and how the latter are wasted due to the underutilization of the treatment plants.
