Women in Politics by Hahn+Zimmermann

This project has shows the proportion of women in politics in 193 countries in 2021.
Self initiated project published as both a leporello and a poster. The goal is to draw attention
to the low representation of women in politics around the world and to call for change for the forthcoming elections. The project was presented at exhibitions and lectures.
The high resolution of the data enables an analysis and comparison of the proportion of women in different continents and countries – both in the large and small chambers of various parliaments. The data is shown within a leporello and a poster and allows the viewer to explore and compare the gender shares in different countries.
