Plausible Genocide by Mona Chalabi

When people ask me questions, I try my best to answer them. And over the past 16 months, readers have been asking me seemingly endless questions about what is happening in Palestine. I wanted to find ways to zoom out and give context in a way that doesn’t feel detached or academic. I tried to answer questions like what was happening to Palestinians outside of Gaza, why the death tolls were so contested and what the situation looked like before October 7. I hope I was able to offer a different perspective than much of the journalism that has fueled public distrust.
